Elena Pichugina (born in 1974)
Was born and lives in Saratov (Russia).
In 2000 graduated from St. Petersburg State Academic Institute named after I.E. Repin, faculty of easel graphics, workshop of a full member of the Academy of Arts, People's Artist of Russia V.A.Vetrogonsky.
The diploma work was marked by the praise of the Council of the Institute and the scholarship of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. Diploma series “Circus” was acquired by the St. Petersburg Museum of Circus Art.

2001 – 1st degree diploma at the regional competition “Young Artists”.
2001-2003 – work commissioned by the Government of the Saratov region
2002 – accepted as a member of the Union of Artists of the Russian Federation
2002 – Diploma in the nomination “Personality of the Year 2002” from the Ministry of Youth Policy, Sports and Tourism of the Saratov region for participation in a number of all-Russian exhibitions.
2003-2007 – trainee of the creative workshop of the Russian Academy of Arts guided by a full member of the Academy of Arts, People's Artist of Russia A.V.Uchayev.
2007 – Diploma of the Russian Academy of Arts for a series of prints “Self-Portrait”.
2012 – Diploma for the contribution to the national art from the Creative Union of Artists of Russia.
Participant of regional, and all-Russian exhibitions since 1997.
Participant of the project “Against the Current” in 2014 and 2016. In 2016 granted membership of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia.
2016 – Participation in the All-Russian exhibitions: “Faces of Russia”, “Tsiolkovsky, Korolev, Gagarin”, “Against the Current”. Painting “Funambulists” was included in the exposition of the exhibition “Circus” at the Russian Museum (St. Petersburg).
2017 – Solo exhibition at the Radishchev Museum, Saratov.
2017 – Solo exhibition at “Lavrushinsky 15”, Moscow
2018 – Participation in interregional exhibition project “The Red Gate” (Moscow).
2018 – Participation in Moscow exhibition project “Architecture. Time and Geography” (Saratov, Moscow)
2019 – Solo exhibitions in Saratov.
2023 – Diploma of a finalist of International painting competition “Faces of Angels”.
2024 – Participation in exhibition-competition “The Red Gate. Against the Current”. Diploma of the Academy of Arts of Russia. Laureate of the Petrov-Vodkin Prize.
2024 - Participation in Qatar International Art Festival
Personal exhibitions in Saratov were held in 1999, 2005, 2008, 2013, 2017, 2019.
Works are acquired for private collections in Russia, Germany, France, Spain.
Painting techniques: canvas/oil, pastel, canvas/acrylic, wall-painting.
